At 2h45, it's too long. But it's such a strong book based on the movie, which I havent seen for a decade or more. Crow has written some very good period pieces to the point that it seemed like a juke box musical--I mean that as a complement. The wrap up at the end is touching. Cast is very good and surprisingly large at 21 although they are rarely all on stage at once. I'm glad I made the effort to keep trying to get a ticket.
