Of Cooper, Gyllenhaal, and Stone, I think the one who, prior to movie awards season, would have had the best shot of being nominated would be Cooper, since he's gotten 2 nominations in the past few years and is starring in a movie by Clint Eastwood. But this may be the only space in his schedule. The Elephant Man is currently closing on Oscar day. I was a little surprised Stone didn't announce she was going to the SAG Awards when they announced the extension to Feb 15. That would have been the natural time to announce it.
