While I agree with you...for the sake of pointing out what seems to be an inconsistency, you've also referred to the Kagans as newbie producers (which they are first time leads) when they've done exactly what you advocate here working with the Weisslers, Jeffrey Richards, Broadway Across America, etc. You have to cut them a break somewhere.
