Exactly. There are rumblings here and there that he wasn't exactly thrilled with some elements of the National Theatre's 'A Little Night Music' (particularly the alterations to the score which *he authorised*), but he certainly never said anything against the production in public while it was running, and when he got up onstage at the final performance - I was there - he looked happy enough, and made a great show of acknowledging/applauding the cast.
