i have zero interest in seeing GIGI but if the book writer/tinkerer - is there a word for this? is she just some new version of show doctor? anyway - has as she says gone back to the colette and put the focus back on gigi that could only be a good thing.

collette's "gigi" is as charming a piece of writing as i've ever read. it's like a diamond. and almost unrecognizable in the film version. "gigi" is about women. GIGI somehow managed to be about men.
