So it looks like there are going to be 5 nominees in the Best Director and Best Choreographer categories moving forward. I completely agree with having a sixth (or seventh) nominee if there is a tie for the last slot in the performance categories. Under the previous rules, there was some kind of tie-breaking system that ended with drawing random lots, which seems like the wrong way to make a potentially life-changing nomination decision. I hope they'll expand this concept to the other categories as well. I'm a little surprised that Alessandro Nivola got moved down to Featured. That role seems like a co-lead to me.
