Agreed. My use of "flaws" was misguided. Lots of Oscar nominated movies have flaws. (And a bunch have won.) So apologies to anyone who took issue with the term.

What I meant to say is, I really enjoyed Into the Woods, but I thought it was very uneven. Therefore I was not surprised that it got shut out of the best picture race. There were a lot of stronger movies released this year.

And that's my opinion.

Yes, I think there are some flawless movies out there. They exist. Though all this is subjective & not worth going into on this theater message board.
