"I find it likely that every character who dances in
'Who's That Woman?' would have appeared in the 1941 edition of the show and would likely be in her late-40's or early 50's."

This has been a problem in some of the later major productions of the show, including both Broadway revivals. We've seen Emily Whitman dance in the number in both Broadway revivals. Makes no sense at all.

And I think that Solange danced in the number at Paper Mill. Which also makes no sense.

The script does not specify the years of the sashes, but it it is clear that Sally and Phyllis appeared in the 1941 edition. (I seem to think that this was made 1940 in the last revival.) And since the characters' ages (or at least approximate ages) are given in the script, it's not hard to figure a year that would make sense, given the material they sing that they performed in the Follies.

In actual shows of that type, including the Ziegfeld Follies, a lot of stars appeared in more than one edition.

And showgirls and chorus members also surely did. I think that the original lead-in to "I'm Still Here" suggests the possibility that Carlotta appeared in more than one edition.

Clearly, yes, Phyllis and Sally did not.
