Michael C Hall is giving an exceptional performance right now

Posted by: UWS_JIM 08:42 am EST 01/17/15

I caught up with Michael C Hall as Hedwig on his final weekend and was absolutely blown away, he was hysterically funny and really moving. I have never seen him on stage before and what a really fantastic actor he is. It's hard to say who I enjoyed more him or Neil Patrick Harris, probably Michael I think. I did feel a little moment of annoyance when it again showed how little Andrew Rannells brought to the role. The audience last night were so loud and they were really into. So was Michael, he was absolutely beaming at the end and there was a nice moment where he hugged and kissed some of the band gently, not sure if he always did that but I guessed it was part of his goodbye to the show.

Loved Michael C Hall. We just saw him on Thursday. Wish we could see him again.

NPH was my first time seeing Hedwig. It is beyond words to describe it. Brought me to tears.

I have to say that I loved Andrew Rannells, too. I felt him was wonderful and heartbreaking as well.

I guess I feel that they brought something different to the role. I am so grateful to have seen each of them.

We have tickets to see JCM as well for both shows on Feb 28 and final performance on March 14.

Love Lena Hall. I am so glad she is still there.

Question about the Hedwig "kiss"

I also enjoyed all three, and find it difficult to choose which was my very favorite. But for those who have seen them all, here's a question: after seeing NeilPatrick Harris kiss an audience member, and then seeing Andrew Rannells not kiss one, I thought I was fairly safe in the front row with Michael Hall, but nonetheless got a big one planted on me. Here's my question, was that unusual for Rannels not to kiss someone, or is that something that he dropped and that Hall picked back up?

Just got back from seeing "The Merry Widow". It was great.

As for the Rannell's kiss, he did not do one for the two shows we saw. He did the car wash dance with one gentleman. Then he laid across another group of people in a different aisle.

On Thursday night, Michael C Hall kissed the gentleman on the cheek.

I wasn't so lucky. She grabbed my sweater, yanked me in, and planted one on my mouth. Afterwards, I looked like I'd been mugged. I had to ride the subway home like that. It actually took two days before all traces of glitter were gone.

I think that sounds wonderful. What a great memory to have.

It was an elderly gentleman that was kissed on the cheek at my show. He doesn't know what he missed.

Wish I could be there for the last show today.
