I don't think he's such an "Eeyore." Dramedy and I generally share the same opinions on shows, and I often depend on his expertise when I have to make strategic decisions on which shows to see! He has certainly steered me right on many occasions, even though we have disagreed on a mainstream show now and then. :-D

I am more inclined to perk up and listen when dramedy likes something than when he doesn't.
