I saw yesterday's matinee (also full-looking house) and enjoyed it a lot. I'm not sure it's saying that much to report that you paid 50 bucks and raved that it's worth at least twice that. That's still less than a full-price ticket and won't get them very far.

I liked the reappearance of Nancy Opel throughout. One of the tricky parts of romantic comedies is having a reasonable obstacle to the leads getting together. The mother's curse was a clever one (I've never seen the movie), and that served to keep it "real" for us. I thought I talked well and was funny.

That would be a weekly gross over $900k. I think the producers would've very happy withthat number.
