I am more and more inclined to agree with you. The women who are assigned the "mirror number" in the show are all more or less the same age and so plausibly would have been in the chorus of the same edition of the show. Stella was a featured artist that year, though not the headliner.

The takeaway is that for the number to make logical sense, Carlotta should be in it, but Solange (etc.) should not. That is, unless you're going completely unrealistic and positing that there is no literal "reality" at the reunion.
