I was at a front table on the side, and it was frustrating to me that I could not see Linda Emond for most of 'So What?" and for a significant portion of "What Would You Do?" I tried shifting my chair a little, but I didn't want to disturb the people around me. And I think I would have had to shift it a lot to fix the problem.

I'm not the biggest fan of this production, but I was liking Emond's performances of both songs and was a bit annoyed that I couldn't see her when slight blocking changes would have solve the problem. Just put her downstage of him (or them, for "What Would You Do?"). This isn't really a thrust stage (although some tables are to the side of the extension) so these kinds of slghtline problems ought not to be necessary.

Anyway, if you can't get a center table downstairs, upstairs might be better. That would probably solve the problem. I didn't realize there were tables upstairs.

Or it might not be a problem if you're simply on the higher level of tables downstairs. But if you're going for a table downstairs, go for center or the higher level.
