Wolf Hall/Winter Garden seating question

Posted by: vegas 07:18 pm EST 01/19/15

I see there's a railing in front of the mezzanine. How does this affect the view? Should I avoid the front row mezz and sit further back? Or do people in the front row lean forward and obstruct the view for those sitting behind?

I'm considering the mezz because the orchestra doesn't seem to have much of a rake. If I'm wrong about that, please let me know.

I haven't been to this theatre since Othello in the early 80s, so I really need some help!

Thanks in advance.
