I saw Santino Fontana do the show at Caramoor and I wish he had been cast as Georg instead. He was perfect.

He was wonderful in Roundabout's benefit concert staging three or four years ago. I always figured they would offer him a full production when his schedule allowed it.

Benanti is a perfect choice for Amalia. If I had my way, I'd cast Emily Skinner or Heidi Blickenstaff as Ilona, and Colin Donnell as Kodaly.
