It probably doesn't help that you stayed through intermission, although I understand why you did. But I would think it will be hard to get a ticket for another performance when you stayed through intermission but left because you were disappointed by the understudy. If you had not stayed for the show, it would probably still somewhat depend, as mentioned below, on how you bought the ticket.
