Meet ATC's own Bruce Kimmel--Vintage Paperback sale Sunday

Posted by: showtunetrivia 11:33 am EDT 03/17/15

This Sunday, at the Glendale Civic Auditorium, you can have Bruce sign stuff between 11 am and 12 pm. And if you want to hang around until 1:00 pm, you can have my better half, Harry Turtledove, sign more stuff. He's not exactly a theatre name, like Bruce, but he has writen a novel with Shakespeare as the lead character and done a short story in which the Bard sees a production of R AND G ARE DEAD. :)

All kidding aside, the annual Vintage Paperback Sale is a fun day. There are plenty of other authors scheduled, all signing for free (admission is five bucks), and there are tons of book dealers. I usually unearth a few theatre books each year, though the emphasis is on forties-sixties pulp, with racy covers. Many dealers also carry cheap DVDs.
