And she could have joined her son again in a show. and if not Shirley Jones, what about Debby Reynolds? Jane Powell? (who just celebrated their birthdays together!) I could think of a dozen old actresses that would be great in that part!! Isn't it American Conservatory Theatre (ACT) and not ATC? Just saying!!!
