I miss the Alex (and it was super convenient for me!). I sat upstairs for The Golden Apple and actually didn't have a problem hearing lyrics, but didn't particularly like the seats.

I was upstairs for DEATH TAKES A HOLIDAY. I thought the sound was bad then, though not as dreadful as GA. And, yes, those seats petrified my aging back. Awful. Laura
