Is anyone else going to the broadcast of Elaine Paige's farewell concert 5/12 in SF?

7:00 Tuesday 5/12 at the Landmark Embarcadero Cinema? As far as I can tell, this is the only Bay Area screening. If other ATCers are going, perhaps we could have a get together before the screening?

If this is a "farewell tour" why is it being screened only in San Francisco?
I think, if you ask me, that Sinatra started the fad of "farewell tours" only to make a come back a few weeks later. and I think Cher is the record holder for 'farewell tours..." saw her 3 times in Las Vegas, and once in Portland, OR.

It's not being screened only in San Francisco - it has been/will be all over the world and (by a rough count, if the list is correct) at least 66 screens in the U.S.

Hmmm...I'm dubious about these "farewell" tours. Cher's on her third farewell tour now I think. Dame Edna pokes fun at them as she too has had many farewell tours. Or isn't it that they will still perform but they just won't, to be specific, "tour"?
