Broadway Rose in Tigard

My husband is a fan of GREASE the movie...so I had to fairly drag him along to see a production in Tigard at the Broadway Rose Theatre. He ended up loving the musical on stage. (I thought he would) The musical was directed by Jacob Toth who was the Assistant Director/Choreographer for the Broadway production for GREASE. Anyway, I have to mention a few standout actors...Paul Harestad who just graduated from High School, was terrific as DOODY, you know the Guitar Player, CCCC AAAAMINOR, okay you got it. His controlled energy was unbelievable, as was his hair do....this young performer will have a great career in the theatre. I also enjoyed Amanda Pred, (JAN) and the actress who played RIZZO Claire Rigsby...quite believable as the leader of the Pink Ladies. And this IS the way THERE ARE WORSE THINGS I COULD DO should be performed! Keep an eye on Collin Carver as EUGENE and TEEN ANGEL! So for anyone travelling to the Portland/Salem area, check out GREASE, playing at the Broadway Rose Theatre, in Tigard. until May 24th! The entire cast is great, and there is a LIVE band! "GREASE is the word, is the word....."
