I could not agree with you more. The production is a work of theatrical art from beginning to end. The extensive symbolism throughout compelled me to think deeply about each character, and the depth of the love relationships really taking place. There is so much more than simply revenge for an event decades ago. I long felt I would enjoy the production before I saw it, but had no idea I'd enjoy it as much as I did. I just sat back and let the creative team and cast take me away...and they did. I am returning to the Lyceum next week to see it again, then a third time when "my visitors" come to the city!
