Saw this sweet coming-of-age tale this afternoon. It's familiar territory but so charmingly portrayed that I succumbed immediately. Kristine Nielsen, egoless without a drop of makeup, beautifully etches a portrait of a woman more complex and perhaps less altruistic than she initially appears. The whole cast rises to that level, in fact. What a little gem.
