Agree. Although I don't always watch all of the Tonys shows or the red carpet shows, my recollection, from what I have seen, is that the "red carpet" coverage on NY station NY1 is more intelligent and less focused on attire. They regularly cover Broadway, have a weekly show devoted to it, and a staff of intelligent people covering it who are able to discuss more than fashion.
