I deliberately didn't mention which nomination slots I'd rather see It Shoulda Been You take, because, frankly, I don't know. I saw all the shows this season, except for Dr. Zhivago, and in addition to It Shoulda Been You, I wish that The Last Ship got a few more nominations. And, as much as I liked Fun Home, I think 3 featured-actress nominations are a bit much. Who would I drop? Again, I don't know. Why is one performance considered better than another? It all doesn't make sense. I just think spreading the wealth (and Tony nominations are gold) makes for a healthier and happier Broadway. (And thanks for the correction on the Daly/Harris category--I was going by over-the-title status!)
