Yeoman Janice Rand on Star Trek

Whitney played Rand for eight episodes on the original Star Trek series in the sixties, enough to establish enough of a character to have Rand move through the ranks in Star Fleet in later movies and sequels. I've seen her in interviews with other ST actors; she had a great sense of humor. Didn't know about her musical theatre background. Laura
