She's not lazy - she just hates repetition of 8 shows a week for so long. Never did it after her stint in FUNNY GIRL. The fact that this show is short and not physically strenuous would be a selling point for her. She ain't gonna do the musical version of the wild film farce WHAT'S UP DOC any day soon! Should there be a musical farce musical based on WHAT'S UP DOC? With Laura Benanti???
