It wasn't intended that way. It's a legitimate question... Since when is 39 performances a benchmark worth celebrating? I do not believe there's anybody involved with this production who is spending the day shouting "HOORAY, IT'S OUR 39TH PERFORMANCE!!!" This is nothing but an opportunity for them to remind everyone that the show exists, and is currently running.
