If she Really Really Truly didn't want the attention, she could more-or-less sneak in. I've seen it happen. Nice house seats empty. House lights go down, overture starts, ushers race someone to the seats in the dark. Ushers come back and whisk same person out of there in the quick moments between the curtain dropping to end the first act and the house lights coming up. Repeat for second act, with Mr./Ms. Anonymous escorted out during the curtain calls. Now, sure, we all whispered, wondering who the hell was such a big star that they got that sort of attention simply to avoid the sort of attention they would have gotten had they been seen in the light. But I do believe relative anonymity is possible. (Isn't that what boxes are for?)
