I was intrigued to find out that Bolin had been a very successful Regina in Blitzstein's opera.

Some more names: Mimi Benzell, Dolores Wilson, Arabella Hong, Richard Cross.

In something of a reversal, both Tommy Rall (JUNO, MILK & HONEY, CRY FOR US ALL) and Willy Falk (MISS SAIGON, A CHORUS LINE) are two performers with dance backgrounds who have gone from Broadway into opera.

Of course, there are all those Menotti operas which had runs on Broadway.
