Anna in the Tropics definitely lost money. What I think Between Riverside and Crazy might have in its favor is that it won both the Pulitzer and the Drama Critics. And it also has a lead performance that would have a strong shot at winning the Tony. That combined with a best play win at the Tonys could make the difference. Neither Disgraced nor Clybourne had the Drama Critics. Between Riverside and Crazy also seems more of an audience play than either of those. Of course, it's all hypothetical, and I by no means think a Broadway transfer is certain (perhaps not even likely), but if I had the money to invest or produce, I might be willing to bet on this one. It would need the right kind of promotion, but I think it could have a solid run and perhaps make a small profit on Broadway (and that might also get it a movie sale, which would also help in the profit department, even if the Atlantic would also get a share of that). Again, you're probably right it's a long shot, but I wouldn't rule it out.
