the cover for the cd - which i never had - must be different from the album. i'm looking at the cover to the album and don't see "At The Palace on B'way" on it. it does have the ahamson ticket on it. you're right, though. there was a palace run. i looked it up. i can't believe i have no recollection of the run of shows in nyc. they were in june so i would have been on fire island that summer and couldn't have afforded to come back into the city just to catch one of the shows so it makes sense i didn't go. it just doesn't make sense not remembering being disappointed. on the other hand it's hard to associate any disappointment with that summer. it's interesting, other than the opening ("here i am/i wouldn't change a thing") i'd have to disagree that it's a great album - or at least i would on the basis of how i remember it. i haven't listened to it in years. i wonder if i'd like it better now. regardless, live - whether at the palace or the ahmanson - i bet it was a terrific show.
