...doubt the timing's a coincidence. Hope it does happen, too. Every NY work trip I have keeps getting canceled. Worried I won't make it back to NY before while the Broadway production is around. I know road tours have different economic considerations and and their share of advantages and disadvantages, but do you think they would tour with a much smaller orchestra? That would seriously diminish the experience for me. But a 30-piece orchestra and large cast of world class dancers isn't going to be a cheap enterprise. Suppose they could have a core smaller group for the orchestra that gets augmented by local musician pick-ups. If, if, if. Let's see if this actually happens first.
