The Painted Rocks at Revolver Creek

Posted by: drummergirl 10:14 pm EDT 05/05/15

Full disclosure: I'm a big fan of all things Fugard.

This is a small, yet powerful work, beautifully rendered. I had a sense of where it was going, but the journey was the pleasure, and I wasn't the only one with tears in her eyes at the end.

Even as I received a reminder today about membership at Signature for the 2015-16 season, even as I'm not necessarily wowed by some of the offerings and finding it hard to select shows, this work reminds me of the terrific productions they can provide, and how lucky we are to see such good theatre at amazing prices.
