The Road to Mecca was a 3 hour bore, but this work was poignant and powerful. It's hard to believe they are both from the same writer.

You see firsthand what painting the rock with the different colors represents, and the relationships with the characters are very vivid. Themes of tradition, who is the landowner, etc are all discussed. It runs a quick 1 hour 45 minutes including the intermission. Definitely recommended.
