Thanks for help with specifics. I didn't feel like searching online, and I've never seen Show Business or read Denman's book.

I got a very last minute invitation to today's King and I matinee. Now that I've seen all three nominees, I can say that if I were a Tony voter, I'd vote for On the Town. I had some pretty big reservations on it, but it still came closer to being a satisfying production than the competition.
