Harlem dancer Alice Barker, 102, sees herself dance on film for 1st time

Posted by: WaymanWong 12:54 am EDT 05/07/15

Alice Barker was a chorus-line dancer during the '30s and '40s at the Apollo and Cotton Club, and she danced with Frank Sinatra, Gene Kelly and Bill ''Bojangles'' Robinson. Now 102, she's living at a Brooklyn nursing home. Recently, friends discovered old ''soundies'' of hers and were able to show her these short movies that she had never seen before.

Yeah, this has been everywhere the last couple of weeks. Lovely video. Seems like Ms. Barker had quite the life.
