And there was certainly no exclamation point used in the title at that time. Must've been early 1970, winter, at the Fisher Theatre in Detroit, MI. Starring John Raitt, Chita Rivera and Barbara Baxley. And it was ... wonderful!

I think at Masonic temple in Detroit, but maybe it was Boston. I was actually excited for the bandaras production a few years ago that didn't materialize. I listen to the cd occasionally. It's a good score and considered going to ny to see this production. Good thing I didn't.
