In Murray's review: "...a tavern-philosophy framing device that finds its perpetrator, known only as The Leader (Marin Mazzie), and her acolytes weaving into and out of (and comment upon) the action..." From Mazzie's Muse-like costume, this doesn't sound like the gritty, Prince-created original premise. Yet the "tavern philosophy" comment suggests something similar. Thoughts?
