I didn't you were from SoCal too, Chazwaza. Hello, neighbor! I never miss an opportunity to visit the Pantages. It is cavernous but it's so gorgeous that I nearly gasp anytime I enter that lobby.

But then you have to enter the house and so many seats have wretched sightlines!

Yeah but I know it so well that I know which seats to avoid. Besides, my parents had their first date there in 1963 when he took her to see the film version of Bye Bye, Birdie, so in addition to being the most beautiful theater I've ever seen,, it has sentimental value for me. :)
