What to see this Monday Night?

I fly into NY on Monday night, May 11th, landing about 7:00 at Laguardia -- which cuts it really close to see one of the few shows running on Monday night. I know that the SIDE SHOW cast is performing at 54 Below that night -- but i just saw that show in November -- and I know that there is open mike at Birdland -- but does anyone have any ideas or recommendations for other music or theater this coming Monday? Something that I may not have been able to find in my perusal of The Times today? Thanks!

The SIDE SHOW cast performance will basically be the same - a few changes - Jeff McCarthy will be performing because of a previous engagement by Ryan Silverman.

Hopefully you will find something - and hopefully you actually Do land at 7pm!

The "Broadway by the Year" is this Monday night at 8pm at Town Hall, but I've stopped going as they've been approaching 3 hours recently, and the insanely long bathroom lines at intermission really are exhausting. It's rough getting home after midnight when Town Hall could simply start the show at 7pm to try to bring in the "working crowd".

Why must everyone go to the bathroom at intermission? Why not before or after the show?

I agree with you. I haven't been going because of the 8pm curtain. Since I live in Brooklyn, I would be home after midnight. I wonder if attendance is higher on Tuesdays when its a 7pm curtain
