I think there is something to this, although I don't think it's "awful". I also don't think Brady Bunch reruns are awful :-) To add a new analogy, I was thinking about restaurants. Not every meal is dinner at Per Se. And not every meal is TRYING to be that. Some nights don't you want a more casual dinner? I thought ISBY was fun and sweet. I don't require that I everything I see be aiming for the pulitzer.
