Thanks for the reminder of how it's used in the film. I don't find it odd that Liane sings "A Tojours," although I don't think the idea of Liane wanting to be a singer is an improvement from the Liane of the film. What I find odd is that later the same melody is sung with new lyrics in a completely different context.
