I certainly hope that Hanke wasn't penalized in his career for appearing in those two flops. While both of those shows had their issues, none of the problems had much to do with the cast. I would say the same about the misguided recent revival of HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING. That production was not a flop in any way, except artistically, but Hanke was terrific in it.
