Takarazuka Revue Company has a long history and tradition in Japan. They have their own musical school (two years) and it is very competitive to get in, and unless you are a graduate of this school, you cannot be admitted to Takarazuka Revue Company. But once you become a company member, no matter how small the role would be, you will be able to perform in a show at least three to four times a year. Typically, the top stars "graduate" from the Company by the age of mid 30's. BTW the actress (Yuka Wao) in Phantom is married to Frank Wildhorn now. For some reasons, Wildhorn's shows are performed often in Japan.
