Dear Bay Area Theater Companies

Posted by: Dr._L 12:57 am EDT 05/11/15

Thanks for all the world premieres. I like world premieres. However, if you want me to buy season tickets (which I am not this year), you need to mix in some Broadway/West End shows I can't afford to travel to see.

Some shows that would have gotten my money for season tickets:

Act One
The Assembled Parties
Casa Valentina
A Christmas Story: The Musical
Mothers and Sons
Peter and Alice

first off, Mothers and Sons will be done at New Conservatory spring of 2016.

i too would like to see some of the shows you have mentioned, however, due to when the performance rights become available, it often takes a year or two before we get to see them out here. also if there are to be national tours of any of the shows, that could also block any productions anywhere.
