The three times we tried (and lost) the lottery, after the front row seats were taken, they made six standing room spots available for $40. Since this happened every time, with the same number of tickets being offered, I can only assume this is how they're being sold. We saw Hamilton from the rear of the orchestra, and standing room isn't measurably different, except you're standing. Saw the original cast of Nine for the first time from standing room in this same theater, and it was perfect (but not for the woman below me, awash in my tears).
