She's no longer part of SHN, which books and presents national tours in SF. If she were to book HAMILTON, she'd essentially be competing with them as a tour presenter, and I'm not sure SF as a market can support two competing presenters on two seasons of tours.

She COULD present it as a sit down (if warranted), and not as part of a touring season. But again, too soon to tell.

What I understand is that she plans to bring in stuff (mostly stuff she co produces I'd imagine) independently, with a roster mostly of shows that otherwise might not hit SF or go on tour (like CAROLINE OR CHANGE).

A show like HAMILTON that is going to tour well and probably be a major attraction in a touring season line up? SHN would never let that slip through their fingers to another local presenter.
