We got a look at the Curran under construction. From what I can tell there is little construction from where we were standing. We were aloud only in the stage area and about the only thing we could see was a huge chandelier that looked a lot like the one at "Phantom of the Opera". There were no lights in the orchestra area and there was a large bar that forbidden us to go to the edge of stage.

The entertainment was the Actors Touring Company production of "The Events" in association with New York Theatre Workshop. It was performed by two excellent actors from England Lesley Hart and Clifford Samuel along with the choir from Most Holy Redeemer Parish on Castro Street. It was all performed on the stage in about 20 feet in front of about 50 persons in the media and newspapers.

This is a new 90 minute lyrical play by David Greig and with music by John Browne. It's about when Anders Breivik who killed 77 people in Norway in 2011. Excellent acting, excellent singing by the choral group and interesting play.

They set up long temporary bleachers last night flat on the stage. It was sort of looking at a basketball game while the choir was also on bleachers facing us with the two actors in the middle of the flat stage.
