Onstage seating for Lazarus?

Posted by: cjmclaughlin10 11:31 am EDT 10/27/15

I was curious to see if subscribers or others were selling their tickets on Stubhub... Then I saw this seating chart and noticed what appears to be onstage or box seating that is not on the NYTW seating chart that is online. Could this be where the lotory seats are

Unlikely. I just spent the better part of a week convincing StubHub A View From The Bridge HAD onstage seating since I have extra to sell after a bunch of friends joined a volleyball squad for the night we had tickets.

That this production will have on-stage seating? StubHub could very easily have just grabbed an old seating chart from a previous production. Happens all the time.

Yes I'm 100% sure. That's why I made sure to include a question mark in the title of the thread...

I don't know where you're getting your information from, but I have seen absolutely no indication that this production will use onstage seating. As someone else pointed out, the seating chart StubHub is using looks extremely similar to a previous NYTW production that used onstage seating.

I think you might have missed some sarcasm in the post to which you just replied.

That on stage seating looks like 'what's it all about?' seating. I'm 100% sure but looks very similar to me.

NYTW has very strict rules regarding the tickets for LAZARUS. They are not issuing them to anyone until two hours before the performance. I highly doubt there will be tickets on sale for this on STUBHUB> There are currently no tickets listed at all.

A website, killerseats.com has a few tickets for as high as $727 each. Same day delivery.

I should clarify "same day". Delivery is day of the performance, not the day of the purchase.

There actually is one on StubHub at this point, but I'm guessing it's legitimate resale (ie my spouse can't join me) as opposed to a reseller situation.

If there's enough profit in them though you could find people willing to do the exchange in person. It just might push the sales off Stubhub and toward Craigslist where there's more direct interaction between the buyer and the seller.

I'm aware of the ticket policy. I was just curious to see if they mailed hard tickets to subscribers (like the met)
And "my wife can't go" dosen't give the person an excuse to sell their ticket for $450 (Wed Jan 13 on Stubhub).

available (Lazarus was the sole reason I subscribed this year) & I haven't gotten a hard ticket.

I don't remember if there was an option for anything but Will-Call back in July when I ordered it. Generally, I order subscriber tix as Will-Call as it is easier to exchange them w/o having to worry about whether they get the physical ticket in time.

This message is in both confirmations (I ordered Fondly Collette... the same day, but separate transactions)

These tickets can be picked up from the New York Theatre Workshop Box Office on the day of your performance. Please be prepared to present a valid photo ID to pick up your tickets. Tickets can only be released to the purchaser.

I actually have a single seat for Dec that I can't use. Have to figure out how to sell it.
